The Athena Steel Casket is suitable for burial and is constructed of durable 18 gauge medium weight steel. The casket features a beautiful moss pink crepe interior with a continuous welded bottom and an adjustable metal bed and mattress. The interior is chemically treated to resist rust and corrosion, and features a locking mechanism and a one piece rubber gasket to ensure that the contents remain secure. The casket also accepts decorative casket panels and features a Memorial Record® system for recording important details. The Athena casket is part of Batesville's Living Memorial® Program and includes a tree planting in memory of your loved one. The casket is finished in white paint and features rose copper hardware with delicate rose portraits. Each casket is factory tested for quality assurance and comes with a limited warranty.
